SMS Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: April 20, 2026
Last Updated: April 20, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the SMS messaging program operated by Happy Delivery LLC (“Happy Delivery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By providing your mobile phone number and consenting to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Program Name
Happy Delivery Operational and Employment Notifications
2. Program Description
The Happy Delivery SMS program delivers operational and employment-related text messages to two groups of recipients:

  • Job applicants who have applied for a delivery associate or related position with Happy Delivery. Messages include interview scheduling, application status updates, onboarding instructions, and offer notifications.

  • Current delivery associates (W-2 employees) of Happy Delivery. Messages include shift confirmations, route and station assignments, schedule changes, dispatch and rescue alerts, safety and policy updates, and other operational notifications.

This program does not send marketing or promotional messages. All messages are transactional or operational in nature.
3. How to Opt In
You may opt in to the program by:

  • Submitting a job application at happydelivery.com/careers (or through our applicant tracking system) and affirmatively checking the SMS consent checkbox associated with the phone number field; or

  • Completing and signing a written SMS Consent Form during employment onboarding.

Providing your phone number alone does not constitute opt-in. Affirmative consent through the checkbox or signed form is required.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your status and operational needs:

  • Applicants typically receive 1–5 messages per week during the active hiring process.

  • Active delivery associates may receive several messages per workday related to scheduling, dispatch, and operations.

5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to all messages sent and received. Happy Delivery does not charge a fee for SMS messages, but your wireless carrier may. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
6. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of the program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After replying STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and will not receive further SMS messages from this program. You may also opt out by contacting us using the information in Section 9.
Opting out of SMS does not affect your application status or your employment standing, but may limit our ability to reach you with time-sensitive operational information. Employees who opt out remain responsible for monitoring scheduling and dispatch information through alternative channels.
7. How to Get Help
Reply HELP to any message to receive support contact information, or contact us directly using the information in Section 9.
8. Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, and their affiliates) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Supported Carriers
This program is compatible with all major U.S. wireless carriers. Message delivery is subject to carrier availability and your device’s capabilities.
10. Privacy
Information you provide in connection with this program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at happydelivery.com/privacy. We do not share, sell, or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
11. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to participate in this program.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued participation in the program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
